Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like a weapon, armor or rings. The item is replaced by another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any wasted resources won't get compensated.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or bought from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade items rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item upgrades to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened, they display a full description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item upgrade's current status and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements are met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the Best item upgrade. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item upgrader kit's rarity, the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items as well as a certain equipment level.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can add equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will have discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to give an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium and a number Upgrade Tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) the level of the item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
