Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions can be a great way to get gear, weapons and more. But they're also hard to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that allows you to bring pistols in to an operation. Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will notice their gear slots rapidly fill up, leading to the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message that prevents Max from picking new equipment until old items are removed or space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the answer to this issue. They provide more inventory space for completing challenges missions. However, because many of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and could be missed, it can take a long time to acquire the largest amount of inventory slots in the game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agents can pick up the passengers.

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups that are on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and retrieve them later.

These pickups can be very useful if your mission requires you to go through a frisk or if you have a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. You are only able to hide one item in a pickup location.

This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and other items. Then, go to the stated mission marker and identify a mob at the time of arrival.
