It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad as it moves from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being the fact that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features make it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the cost we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. Its high-end price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. Additionally the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will require changing regularly.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could find, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It also comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Like many robotic hoovers vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to select this option, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own cleaner of choice.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the area and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests however this could be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a good robot vacuum bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

This machine has one major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's an easy solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session.
