Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly efficient, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling different types of floors. Find models that allow you to choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to automatically empty and clean up stairs.

Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It easily drove close to walls without colliding with them, and was able to traverse raised room thresholds with no problem, but it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one move. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it reached carpets or carpets.

Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and fills up its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just drag the pad across it. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station if required.

This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled whenever required. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty good robot vacuum as well, with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent, navigating tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a large margin over obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.

Its app has a streamlined and intuitive interface that will be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up dirt and debris however, it's not able to reach every last particle of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners and on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It is simple to connect to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by eliminating mopping and using a lower-cost plastic body.

It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also has an best automatic vacuum cleaner water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots that vacuum and mop we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't remove cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums are unable to. It also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and increase suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark areas you want to avoid this is a useful feature.
